My sister Emanuella (Jones) McCall, Class of ‘78 and I, Jeanette (Jones) Simmons, Golden Aggie Class of ’76 – both Alpha Mu sorors and former members of the Blue and Gold Marching Machine – had a double wedding in December 1979 in North Carolina. All four of us are Aggies!  

Emanuella married Mitchell McCall and I married the late Jerome Simmons, Class of ’77. Both grooms were N.C. A&T athletes.  

After marriage, Emanuella and Mitchell moved to Spain because of Mitchell’s military assignment. Five years after our double wedding, little did we know we would end op pregnant and due the same month of January. Her son arrived two weeks early and my daughter arrived three weeks late.  

After my sister and her husband returned to the states, the four of us, plus a younger brother Darrell, Class of ‘90, would all attend the Greatest Homecoming on Earth together as a family.  

We are happy to say we have not only a brother who attended A&T, but also lots of relatives who attended as well.  

Our Aggie family legacy continues to grow! We are proud to be Aggie born and Aggie bred! Aggie Pride!
