For 100 years, North Carolina A&T homecoming has represented tradition, excellence, family and the unmistakable spirit of Aggieland. For me, it has always represented something even more personal – a home.
As a Greensboro, North Carolina, native, some of my earliest memories are intertwined with North Carolina A&T: lining the streets for homecoming parades, cheering for the Aggies and watching generations return for what we proudly know as the Greatest Homecoming on Earth.
My Aggie story began at the North Carolina A&T Child Development Laboratory, where I was once a little Aggie Pup learning and growing on the same campus that would eventually help shape the woman and leader I am today. I am also a graduate of the historical James Benson Dudley High School in Greensboro.
I am now a three-time Aggie graduate and second-generation Aggie, following my mother Katrina McCullough Robinson ’90. I earned my BSN from A&T in 2015, beginning a nursing career centered on caring for children and serving the communities that poured into me. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, my purpose remains rooted in improving the health and futures of children, particularly those in underserved communities.
My journey also represents the power of Aggie mentorship. I first met Dr. Tiffany Morris during my undergraduate nursing years. Her guidance helped shape me into the calm, competent, and steadfast clinician I am today. Years later, our journey came full circle as she became my DNP chair and ultimately hooded me as a graduate of A&T’s inaugural Doctor of Nursing Practice in Transformational Nursing Leadership cohort in May 2026.
From a little Aggie pup at the Child Development Lab, to an Aggie nurse, pediatric nurse practitioner, and now Doctor of Nursing Practice, my journey is a testament to legacy, faith, divine timing, and purpose. As we commemorate 100 years of the Greatest Homecoming on Earth, I honor those who came before me and will continue to celebrate just as I did as a little girl screaming “Aggie Pride!”
